Well hello there.
My name is Sean, I’m an illustrator, author, and designer. I’m classically trained and love the look of a good wood cut, but currently I’m drawing and painting on my iPad. I’m also a huge fan of negative space and figure-ground relationships. I have a BA in Fine Arts from Loyola University (MD). I’m currently working on two Alphabet picture books and various other things.
I’ve been in the creative field for a while. I painted murals for a time in and around Washington DC. Over the past 20 years I’ve worked as a designer and creative director with companies like JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Goldman Sachs. Now I’ve set my sights on making picture books, and I’m all in.
